What is Pathways?

PPMR Video

Pathways to Education is a program that supports registered students aged 12 to 17 years old and their families, to encourage their school perseverance.

Our team of youth counselors provides resources and a support network to students, in order to help them:

  • get their secondary school diploma
  • build a strong foundation for their future success

Registered students are supported throughout their whole secondary studies.

Type of support offered

Four types of support

Personalized support

A youth counselor works with students one-on-one, and brings them to:

  1. set objectives and monitor their achievement
  2. solve problems
  3. recognize their strengths, their efforts and their successes
  4. prepare for life after secondary school

School support

The students can improve their ability to learn, thanks to tutoring sessions, homework assistance and workshops (studying strategies, planning and organizing, etc.)

Social support

The students take part in various group activities, in order to:

  1. develop their skills
  2. build relationships
  3. discover the options they have

Financial support

The students can receive sporadic financial assistance, as well as a post-secondary scholarship up to 2000 $.
