4 ways to start a conversation

1

“What would you like to be able to accomplish in the future?”

2

“Is there a subject that you’re really passionate about these days?”

3

“If you could create your own job, what would it look like?”

4

“Shall we look together at the types of degrees that lead to what interests you?”

Why is getting a diploma important?

A diploma influences much more than just your career.

It is an investment that pays off: in quality of life, stability, and freedom of choice.

The collective cost ofschool dropouts is

$14 billion per year in Quebec.

This cost confirms that school dropouts remain a major obstacle to regional economic and social development.

Studies by Frédéric Laurin, PhD in economics and researcher at the Institute for Research on SMEs at the University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières (UQTR), reveal the extent of economic losses related to school dropout in four regions of Quebec.
