Simple writing training

Simple writing training sessions are offered by RAP Côte-Nord since 2023, and hosted by Le Sac à mots.

On the North Shore, close to 430 people, among our partners for educational success, have been trained in 3 years. Participants would mostly come from the education sector, health and social services, community organizations and municipalities.

 

Next steps

During the 2025-2026 period, the contents of the training sessions will take the form of animated videos availble on our website.
The goal is to allow our partners to learn and put in practice simple writing by themselves.

Here are the main challenges our partners face:

Schools / Education

  • Hard to reach parents and get them engaged in the school lif of their child
  • Hard to engage and mobilize school teams

Health and social services / Community organizations

  • Effective communications on social media, promotional material, posters, etc.
  • Efficiency, and making sure users understand forms
  • Making health information easier to understand for everyone
  • Engagement and participation of target users
